Why Rap productions cost alot when there’s no effort put into the music?
Man, anyone can come up with a bground beat for a rap song. At work the coworkers put a rap station and so i was looking at all the raps, specifically i was paying attention at the music. Drum beats and a repetitive 5 note tune… that’s so dumb boring. It just keeps repeating and never changes. No wonder rap is not something i like. Why isit rap producers want money for their product but they don’t even work on the music…. Anyone can just make as good rap music as any of these so called Professionals. You can even make rap bg beat music by just using the first 7 notes of twinkle twinkle little star and repeating them forever. that’s how it was in most songs i heard in the radio today.
Man… rappers.. demand better more involved music!!!

For jazz, you can’t beat The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest. For one of the songs they even got Ron Carter (a jazz bassist who worked with Miles Davis) to play bass. It’s a great album.

Rap Music.?
I love any music that has a good beat, but am I the only one who thinks that Most, not all, Rap DOES need to be regulated, even at the cost of freedom of speech. It seems some rappers and their songs go beyound the limits. I would rather my kids see a nipple slip at the super bowl then listen to the garbage thats avaible to them now on the radio.
For the record, I listen to Country, Rock, Metal, Classical, New Age, Mowtown, Blues, and Folk. So I am not just griping about a music based on age or race.
Rap music should be banned by the Geneva Convention forbidding torture.
